Year-Round Whales
Because of our advanced coast guard certifications, we're able to get further offshore than most other companies on the Big Island. This means we're able to access a deep water pelagic zone home to exotic whale species including pilot whales, sperm whales, false killer whales, melon headed whales, beaked whales, and so much more! Unlike humpback whales, which are seasonal visitors to the Hawaiian Islands, these species don't migrate. Because of their residential habits, we have the privilege of being able to spot a wide variety of megafauna and some of the most unique pelagic whales in the world year round!
