Meet Apollo
Meet Apollo, the newest addition to the Hawaiian Adventures team. Apollo’s long, nimble, Ribcraft design creates a gentle ride while also bolstering the spirit of adventure. One of the smoothest vessels in its class, Apollo‘s 12.5 meter hull is designed for streamlined, sleek movement. Forward facing padded seats ensure a comfortable cruise and expansive views as we explore the wonders of the Kona coast.
During our winter season, we’ll be on the search for our migratory humpback whales, who have just finished a 3,000 mile journey from the rim of the northern Pacific ocean. Apollo provides the best platform for viewing this massive migration all winter long as humpback whales travel to our island chain. A purpose-built vessel means we’ll be able to travel further and save time in transit. This way, we can spend more time on scene with wildlife for intimate, respectful, and unforgettable encounters!

Performance
A long profile and triple outboard motors lets Apollo jet effortlessly up and down the coastline. Equipped with state of the art controls and Garmin navigation systems, Apollo cruises as comfortably near shore as it does in our pelagic zone. Indulge in the true spirit of adventure as we uncover the Kona coastline, scouting areas teeming with life. Our water level viewing gives guests a grounded connection to the sea and its inhabitants, reinforcing old and new passions for our ocean.
Floating Classroom
Welcome aboard the ultimate floating classroom. One of our highest priorities is providing meaningful, impactful education about the beautiful ecosystem we get to explore. Our onboard marine naturalist and Captain will be your guides for all things wildlife, research, history, and conservation. Have any questions? Safety
Apollo holds a high coastguard certification, meaning we carry increased safety equipment on board. State of the art navigational systems and triple outboard motors ensure a safe, steady ride. Stepping aboard, you’ll find that comfort meets capability. Introducing Artemis, a 46 foot aluminum catamaran custom built for mission focused wildlife adventures on the breathtaking Kona Coast of Hawaii. Boasting two shaded viewing decks, easily accessible swim platform with dual swim ladders, forward facing bucket seating, spacious onboard restroom, boat-wide sound system, and scientific quality hydrophones, Artemis is the only vessel of its kind in Hawaii.
